The Miami International Boat Show is always a highlight on the marine industry calendar, a vibrant hub where the latest and greatest in boating technology and design are unveiled. This year, 3D Boats was thrilled to be a part of the excitement, not just as attendees, but as participants in the prestigious Neptune Awards organized by the Marine Marketers of America and presided over by Ali Martin.
For those unfamiliar, the Neptune Awards celebrate excellence and innovation across various sectors of the marine world. We were incredibly proud to have submitted two entries this year, showcasing our commitment to pushing boundaries:
- New Innovation Technologies: Recognizing our cutting-edge LiDAR-based 3D boat modeling process and the immersive quality of our digital boat showcases.
- Boat Show Innovation: Highlighting our 3D Boats Shows we produced in partnership with NMMA and Discover Boating: Norwalk Boat Show, New England Boat Show and Atlantic City Boat Show, aiming to revolutionize how boat enthusiasts, manufacturers and dealers experience Boat Shows in this new Digital Era.

While we didn’t take home a Neptune Award this time around, the experience was nothing short of fantastic. Being recognized among such a talented and innovative group of companies in the marine industry was an honor in itself. The nomination process validated the hard work and dedication our team pours into developing solutions that we believe are truly transforming the way people experience and interact with boats.
The awards ceremony, held during the bustling Miami Boat Show, provided an invaluable opportunity to connect with a wide array of professionals from every corner of the marine world. We had the chance to meet industry leaders, fellow innovators, and potential partners, all passionate about the future of boating.
One of the most rewarding aspects of our participation was the feedback we received on our 3D boat models, 3D Boat Shows and Digital Sales Room. Engaging with people who live and breathe the boating industry – from seasoned manufacturers and enthusiastic dealers to insightful journalists – provided us with invaluable perspectives. Their enthusiasm for the level of detail in our 3D models and the potential of our Digital Sales Room to enhance the sales process was incredibly encouraging.
We heard firsthand how our technology could solve real-world challenges, from expanding market reach and engaging remote customers to streamlining the sales experience and reducing the costs associated with physical boat displays. These conversations have fueled our passion even further and provided us with valuable insights that will undoubtedly shape the future development of our products.
The Neptune Awards ceremony served as a powerful reminder of the dynamism and ingenuity within the marine industry. We left Miami feeling inspired and energized, even more committed to our mission of providing the most realistic and interactive digital boat experiences available.
While a Neptune Award would have been a fantastic addition to our trophy case, the true reward was the opportunity to connect with the heart of the marine industry, share our vision, and receive such positive and constructive feedback.
